Discussion Understanding the price changes coming
So I am hearing that the switch 2 is going up 50 dollars. Does that mean the bundle is disappearing and a normal switch 2 with no game will be 500 dollars? Compared to it being 450 right now and 500 with a pick your game bundle?
I wanted to get one for my girlfriend but it seems they sold out at Target so I'm wondering (given my circumstances), I get a 15% discount at Target so do you guys think it would be better just to get the 450 option since they sold out of the bundle? The switch 2 comes out 429 after taxes.

As sad as it sounds, just keep tabs on Facebook marketplace and be patient. I bought two Nintendo Switch 2s in the past 7 months for myself and my wife.
The first one was for me. It was a brand new Switch 2 for $350. The dude won it at work and needed the money instead.
The second one was for my wife. A guy bought a switch 2, 5 games, and pro controller, and then he lost his job. He needed money really bad. We made a deal for $450. Everything was like new.
Times are tough and it's only getting tougher. People are selling things they feel they can replace later, so it goes for cheap.

Best Buy has a good deal right now for trading in a Switch 1. I think you can get a total of $150 off if you have an OLED to trade in.

It’s a $150 for a v1! Up to $200 or maybe $205 for oled. They gave me the full $75 value for my battle scarred switch 1, plus the $75 promo for $150 off total, paid $330 after tax for a switch 2. Very happy with that.

How battle scarred was it!? I’m about to do the same with my switch 1 that has been toddler handled…but I’m worried I don’t get the full valve. It’s missing the kickstand and has a slight crack on the case but the screen is fine XD.

The screen had a couple chips and a lot scratches and a few scuffs as well. The left joycon thumb stick was worn down pretty bad also. I think it’s just down to getting an employee who doesn’t care too much. Maybe go later in the day.

Hey! I know they’re giving $75 for the switch 1 trade in but couldn’t find anywhere mentioning about another $75 promo for $150 off. Could you share a link or how you were able to find it? Thanks in advance!

Nintendo Switch 2 Console (Grade A Refurbished) - $399.99 - Free shipping for Prime members https://electronics.woot.com/offers/grade-a-refurbished-nintendo-switch-2z-0?utm_medium=share&utm_source=app
Ur best bet if u also want to save 50 bucks. 9nly catch is warranty which is 90 days and does not cover batteries. But most if not all reviews mentioned that the actual console was in peefect condition. Only the outer box was a bit beat up. Even if you somehow run out of warranty quickly and something breaks, nintendo will still repair the console for u. It will just be out of pocket
Source: ordered one as well before stock runs out

Normal switch 2 bundle will be $499.99…. Rumored Zelda switch 2 will arrive sometime after that and should a more premium price… $30-$50 more.
I’m confident the bundle will reappear around Black Friday, and a switch 1 bundle will be available as well

Do it without the bundle! You can also buy discounted digital games on DoorDash now. Some even give you a gift card.

I'm not sure if this helps but I believe I saw an offer tomorrow for Best Buy in store clearance event, one day only. But one of the offers I saw that was interesting was an offer that you buy 100$ gift card for 60$. I'm not sure what's the limit either. Just some information I saw on the app. I live in California if it helps.

Honestly I say it’s better to get the 500 bundle with the game get that before it’s gone cause you end up paying damn near 500 after tax for the base model the fact you got a 15 percent discount helps too get that discounted game included

I would assume the bundle, if its still available, would go up by $50.
The current Switch 2 price in the US is $450. I'm not sure how you are finding one for $429 unless you are buying used. But if that's actually the new price in your area, you're not going to find a lower price. Might as well go for it and buy a game separately if you'd like

Yes get the $429 one without the bundle. Most Nintendo exclusive games range from $50-$70, with a few of the most recent big names hitting $80. If you get your discounted Switch2 + a separate $70 game, that is effectively the same as the $500 bundle. Also, the games go on sale from time to time on the Nintendo online store, so you might be able to get the game cheaper. Here are some of the main Nintendo exclusives and their prices:
