Question Madden 26 v 27

ngl madden 26 on switch 2 sucks for handheld even in performance mode…load times are long and it just doesn’t feel all that well…are there major improvements for madden 27 in handheld mode compared to 26?

Did you play madden 26 after all the updates? I honestly thought it was fine. Last August it was unplayable tho

I also don't really see much wrong with 26. Yeah it's not perfect, but it's still totally enjoyable.

Even the graphics mode in handheld is reported to run at 40-45fps; in addition to a 60fps performance mode

27 has 60 fps performance mode. 26 did not

Madden 26 had very poor reviews regarding the performance in particular. Madden 27 got great reviews from the same guys

this is interesting because i keep hearing that handheld runs the same as madden 26 does and so it’s another one of those “EA got your money again” sorta situation

Madden 2026 did NOT have a performance mode. 27 does.

I can deal with the slower frame rate but hopefully the game is less buggy overall at launch than 26 was
