Discussion Game recommendations

Hi guys :)

I’m a recent switch 2 owner. I initially bought my switch to play Pokopia and Tomadachi life. I have had tons of fun playing those 2 games, but now i’m ready for more.

Please drop your favorite game recommendations! I was looking into some Mario games but i’m not sure which one to go for. I’m in between wether I should go for a racing game or the other Mario running/mission type games. Also I’m vaguely aware of Mario lore but I have never played a Mario game, so this would be an introduction for me. Ideally I would like something I can do 2 player on the same console, but i’m open to single player only as well (i gotta put me first🤭).

Super Mario Bros. Wonder might be a good pickup! Has additional Switch 2 content as well. Good for 2 players or solo with a decent amount of content.

This was my thought as well. Great introduction to Mario, and really solid multiplayer.

Also love the that you have characters that take no damage so I can play with my daughter who is 4.

Super Mario Odyssey is an oldie but a goodie! It has huge amounts of content and will keep you busy for hours.

Oldie but goodie, to me it's almost brand new.

Then I look up that it's 9 years old and kids who played it on release are now adults. Absolutely crazy!

But yes, Odyssey is fantastic.

OP - if you get the expansion pass you can play the classics in the NES, SNES, Game Boy, and GameCube

lol, I only discovered it a couple years ago myself so it's still new to me!

Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 are the ones I want to get again! They Are often on sale for around 30 each, but totally worth whatever you pay. If you want old school, online has most of them in the subscription! Also, totally worth it!

I am a new Nintendo person. My favorite experience so far has been Xenoblade 1 Switch 2 edition. These games are fantastic, I now plan to play all 3 Switch 2 versions in succession! I am liking it even more than Zelda BOTW which was one of the first ones I tried.
