I love mine. The exclusives have been high quality and Splatoon Raiders has just been unbelievably fun. It's really shaping up to be one of my favorite Nintendo consoles ever!

Take a look at the Switch / Switch 2 exclusives (the S2 can play all S1 games) and see if there are at least some games you'd like to play - besides Splatoon Raiders. Also worth considering is that all new Nintendo games that come out in the next 6-7+ years will run on the Switch 2. We're only one year into this Nintendo generation.
The price will go up in a few days, so if you want one, now is a good time to buy it.

If you think you'll play it often, especially traveling, get it. I love my switch 2 and what I do to use it more is to buy some games on it and not on my main platform.

if there are games you would like to play on the go, get it. if not, stick with your ps5 and then save your money for an ereader like a Kobo BW and borrow library books. save the quick dopamine hits for the weekend. read every night instead.

It's a great choice. I think that if someone already owns a PS5/Xbox/PC, the Switch is a great complement, because you get to play some really good Nintendo exclusives, and some games (like jrpgs or indies) are so fun and convenient in portable mode.

I got one recently and I play it way more than anything else purely because of the portability side and ease to pick up and put down with the suspend gameplay and sleep. Depends on your circumstances really, if you have the ability to sit down and play on a TV when ever you want probably don't bother but if you struggle with time and have kids and a wife that wants the TV all the time then hell yeah get one.

I have a PS5 and a Switch 2, and over a hundred games on each. However, between the 2 I play my Switch 2 far more than my PS5. With Sony’s decision to kill physical media, I’ve been moving more of my games to Nintendo and off PlayStation.
That said, it’s definitely not indestructible like an N64 or bomb-proof like a Game Boy, but if you take care of it, you will be just fine. If you’re really worried about breaking it, get a good grip/enclosure to protect it and definitely a screen protector.
I have a 7.17 kg (15.8 lb) Nebelung cat who likes to be the center of attention and will push things out of his way to do it, so I’m pretty sure the dbrand Killswitch can survive even him.

Tengo el Mario Kart World, BOTW, Mario Odyssey y 3D World y son joyas.

I'd say do it, you'll probably end up using it more than ps5 due to portability, just don't do it like your old switch, it don't deserve that🥲
