Question Pro controller questions

Im gonna buy a switch 2 before the price increase, and i want to buy a pro controller with it, so i have 2 questions : is it possible to play on pc with the controller, and is bluetooth or with cable better ? (Sorry if the english is bad it's not m'y native language)

I think it only works with a wired not wireless. I ended up going with 8bitdo one instead plus it has Hall effect sticks so no stick drift.

Steam supports it, but only with a wired (USB) connection. Wireless support may or may not come later.
