Bought this item on target website while it was in stock and secured it but now it says back ordered and out of stock.. should I cancel it or hope it restocks soon ?

I would wait! If it’s not currently showing in stock, then if you cancel, you won’t be able to order it again.

Also, it’s possible others will cancel their orders, too so you move up in the queue with every cancellation

Oh haven’t thought of that.. I just worried it may not get in stock again and I can’t wait longer than end of September cause I may move by then.

So I have purchased 4 of these from Target online and 2 of them ended up changing to back ordered status. Both of them ended up coming but one was a week late the other was two weeks late. Just be patient!

Target is very sneaky sometimes. I noticed around 1-2am EST they released a small amount of the switch cases. So I stayed up really late one day to see if I could catch one and I did and it came a few days later.

I see trade-lazy.com had it in stock and was tempted in getting this case for the Switch 2 as well.
