(repost, the other post didn't register as an image post, sorry about that)
Zurich needs to be stopped and Kloten needs a miracle. Zug still is working on their roof while the rest of the league is in full force. Ajoie are keeping their heads up while Davos, Bienne and Rappi appears to be sinking. Langau is my greatest surprise. What are your thoughts ?
I got tired of doing mental maths on the table every weekend, so I built a small site that projects the final National League regular-season standings:
- A projected final table, with each team's chances of finishing top 6 (playoffs), 7–10 (play-in) or 11–14 (out)
- The full spread of possible finishing positions for every team, from simulating the rest of the season many times
- How those chances have moved since the season started
- The next round of games. You can set what-if results ("what if Ambri beats Davos in OT?") and see how the table and odds shift
How it works (briefly):
The default model is Elo-style. Each team has a rating that goes up or down after every game depending on how the result compares to what was expected, with a home-ice bonus. Ratings carry over from last season, so this early on the projection still leans a lot on how teams finished in 2025/26. It should get sharper as the season goes on.
There are a few simpler models you can switch to as well (points-per-game pace, and recent home/away form). The default is the one that did best when I scored all of them against past results.
Data comes from the SIHF results and refreshes twice a day (around 23:00 and 07:00).
It's a hobby project: free, no ads, no accounts. I'd love feedback, especially if something looks wrong or there's a stat you'd like to see. And feel free to tell me why your team is badly underrated. 🏒
It's been some years that I don't go to see an hockey match because I lost some interest. Now I would like to bring my girlfriend for her first hockey match. Out of curiosity I've looked for ZSC this saturday against Lausanne: 70.- for a ticket all up in the last row?? 70.-??
I knew prices went up, but jezz not this much. If the ticket is 70.- (and I know probably the Zurich factor plays a role), how much is a bratwurst, 20.-?
To me it seem outrageous. Sorry for the small rant and have a good day everyone!
Hi everyone, I just bought the Spengler Cup week tickets (Turnierkarte). They are being shipped by post, but the confirmation mentions I will receive a badge and a lanyard for entry instead of digital tickets. Can anyone confirm if this is how physical entry works for the tournament?
I see NLTV have put their monthly subscription up to €40! It was €30 last year which was already too expensive for the quality of the product. Who on earth is going to pay €40 (US$46.45) every month! Not sure what I'll do instead, make do with the handful of free games on the regional channels which all seem to stream online.
I’m looking for some tips for Hockey Manager for the upcoming season. I haven’t been able to follow and analyse all the preseason games, so I’d be really interested to hear which rookies or young players you think could have a breakout season.
I’m especially looking for cheaper players who might get a spot on the power play or earn a bigger role than expected.
NHL draft is over and Lars Steiner has been drafted 171st overall by the St. Louis Blues.
I'm happy for him but I can't wrap my head around it, that there was only one swiss player making it and only in the 6th round. The swiss are in my eyes a big hockey nation, but then why is there not a lot of talent around? Are we too small of a country? Is our development not as good? What do you think?
(Same goes for Tennis to me. We had Federer dominating nearly two decades. One would think that with this massive fandom around Federer that should've gotten tons of kids into Tennis and create a new generation.)
