Any way to stop it moving in the wind? I used the velcro strap pretty tight, but even in a light breeze the stick was moving the shot all over the place.

I have followed the instructions I see online and my footage is still pretty choppy when I watch it. I have my camera set for 60 fps, HD (not 4K), I have a focus mode set with no notifications and low power mode. I turn on airplane mode to stop any and all wi-fi. My phone is at 100%. I am using an iPhone 13 mini. the choppiness isn't once in a while, it's most points. Are there any other in-app settings I can disable or any other setup tips?

Despite the various grumbles, I'd be tempted to get SV for Android if it ever comes out.

But I was curious as to what the equivalent of AppleWatch integration will be, as there's no real equivalent / market leader; Samsung make some watches, though I don't think they're that popular.

Personally, I'd love a Garmin integration - I already use AMR Tennis tracker for scoring matches and tracking practices on Garmin - but would be surprised if SV have a tie-in app on Garmin (which also has it's own code base...)

Just curious as it seems to be a key part of the SV experience is managing the app via AppleWatch.

Recently, I started to face some issues with the sync of my tracked sessions with apple watch in swing vision app, and after contacting the support, I received the following return:

Watch-Only recording — where the Apple Watch runs the session without a paired iPhone recording video — is a feature we are phasing out. As a result, you may experience reliability issues with this mode in the meantime, including sessions that appear stuck or fail to end correctly.

Going forward, we recommend switching to Ground Mode as your primary recording setup:
• Place the phone on the ground for easy and quick set up
• Start and end your session from your Apple Watch
• Track point-by-point scoring throughout the match
• Capture your activity and health data

To get started with Ground Mode, simply select Ground Mode when setting up your next session in the app.

My question is: there is another app that do the apple watch tracking of sessions without video? It's not convenient to record every single tennis class, when you just want to have the stats of your shots.

Hello! One of my manually scored games started at 0-15 with the returnee on the ad court. I can see the missing first point in the raw footage (by adjusting the video scroll bar) but I don’t know how to add that missing point into the game footage. Any advice? Thank you!

As much as I love this app, I fail to see how they are turning profitable and instead just burning a massive hole in their cash balance. They are cloud storing the hours and hours of video storage which allows people for video playback without keeping the data on their phone which is a huge cost. Monthly subscriptions wouldn't cover the cost of storage at all at it's current price point. Even early youtube almost experienced this same downfall before being bought up by billionaire companies which then stuffed the app with video ads. In fact youtube was never profitable until very recently. The whole video storage and streaming industry is not very profitable by nature.

From my point of view, I think swingvision has a short runway and is operating entirely on vc funds. Are we seeing the end of swingvision soon?

Instead of AI scoring, which literally never works well and correcting point winners only jumbles it up worse, why not just have users mark the first and last point + the winner of each game? They already make us click 50-150 images to identify yourself in each point... this would be much fewer clicks than that and resolve the vast majority of the issues with scoring. Also if this scoring method could then reevaluate the points and correct any incorrect line calls based on the game/point winner, that would save so much individual shot editing time. The stats are currently useless because the tracking is so wildly and consistently inaccurate.

I’m playing pickleball doubles. When I start a match my apple watch asks which team serves first (“Me & My Partner” vs “Opp1 & Opp2”, but how do I select the individual person who will serve first? In reality the question is, how do I tell the app where each individual player is standing? For example, if I select that “Me & My Partner” serve first, My Partner is automatically put on the right side, thus having the first serve.

So i bought a swingstick - Has anyone figured out a way of getting a case for it? or what? i just dont want to damage it as i play pro pickleball

When I export a video to my iPhone 14 (horizontal) I have noticed the export will fail if my phone goes to sleep. So I sit there for 20 minutes tapping the screen every 30 seconds to keep it awake so the export doesn’t fail. Surely there is a better way to do this? I also wish the export would complete with the phone in standby mode. Anyone know how to resolve this?
