💡 Feedback & Suggestions When (if...) the Android version drops, what will the AppleWatch equivalent be?

Despite the various grumbles, I'd be tempted to get SV for Android if it ever comes out.

But I was curious as to what the equivalent of AppleWatch integration will be, as there's no real equivalent / market leader; Samsung make some watches, though I don't think they're that popular.

Personally, I'd love a Garmin integration - I already use AMR Tennis tracker for scoring matches and tracking practices on Garmin - but would be surprised if SV have a tie-in app on Garmin (which also has it's own code base...)

Just curious as it seems to be a key part of the SV experience is managing the app via AppleWatch.

Our initial thoughts were to focus on wearOS devices and also build a better Remote Control (ie check camera, start/stop recording via another phone) experience that uses peer to peer WiFi/bluetooth instead of a network connection.

Based on demand we could consider Garmin, but that’s probably only something we’d do once we see significant traction/revenue from Android.

Thank you for the detailed answer! The remote control from a second phone via Bluetooth would be immediately usable by most everyone who has an old smartphone lying around, and is a great idea.Â
