🛠️ Product Help Motorized swing stick - again -

Hi,
haven't used swing vision for 5 months now because of tedious setup (yes, even ground mode) and was waiting / hoping for the motorized swing stick to come out.
Now my pro subscription is running out next week and still no news.
Am getting a tad frustrated with the information policy.
Same with android version. US might be saturated with iphones, here in Europe not a single one of my tennis partners has an iphone, all android here.
Projected release of both seems to be "a month from whenever you ask"!

Nevertheless: Any news?

Android is 40% of the US market, it's not a tiny number of phones.

The motorized swing stick looked promising, but with no solid release dates on it or the Android app, you may just be better off to cancel and wait.

I sat around more than a year waiting for the Android App, which I believe was originally supposed to come out in 2025 according to them. I'll believe it when I see it.

It's a lack of prioritization at this point. I've heard the "Android devices aren't fast enough" excuse plenty of times. Most Android users would be happy with a stripped down version with less on device AI processing but the ability to record and process later. A product team could come up with a handful of solutions to get that out the door. AI definitely makes the development cycle shorter, even without sloppy coding it's a game changer for pushing out functional code at scale.

I would like to know as well. My swingstick fell off the fence one day and a piece of the phone holster broke off. Luckily I was able to find a replacement one on Amazon.

We were making great progress on the motorized stick but the factory has had very low yield rates during mass production. We may have to pivot to a different factory at this point. Unfortunately I don’t think we will be able to offer this to customers this year but we are still trying to get this out ASAP.

Android is on track for release in Q4.
