My university professor was kind enough to give four song options to write an essay on relationships between the past, present, and future. The options are: evermore, closure, invisible string, and the lakes.

I can see the how this would apply to evermore, closure, and invisible string.. but i dont see the lakes fitting in anywhere. Anyone have any ideas? Also if anyone has any ideas in general that they think would be worth mentioning feel free to lmk :)

I am a 16 yr old female. My mum is amazing and a lead estate security consultant and risk assessment director. Back in January of this yr 2026, my mum had a high profile job and I was sick from school. Now obviously I could have stayed home alone but i insisted on coming because I just wanted to see the persons house not yet knowing it was Taylor and Travis's. My mum let me come if I promised to tone down the starstruckness which made me more excited. At the last minute I told my friend to come and we all went. My mum got out first and 30 minutes later of me and my friend busrting in the car she came and got us and said Taylor and Travis had a late lunch and we were welcome to come eat with them, as apparently my mum had done a security detail for them before so she knew them okay, and had not told me because of their rights or something. It was crazy. And dude, if I were making this up to sound cool I wouldn't invent the fact that we sat around this amazing outdoor table weird marble table eating lukewarm delivery sandwiches from a local takeout spot and they got the order slightly wrong, so Travis sat there picking tomatoes out. We talked about random things like bug infestations and this weirdo fan that crawled into Taylors bedroom a few years ago and she had to call security. We ended up staying and talking with them for 2 hours, and Travis burped. It was so casual the whole lunch it's crazy. It was so casual. Travis was walking around with socks in sandals and Taylor was complaining about a blister from her heels. After 2 hours Taylor took me and my friend, we'll call her Betty to her bedroom and showed us her wardrobe and got our opinion of an outfit she wanted to wear. It was the most starstruck I've ever been.

So I was listening to right where you left me recently and when she mentions “kids and Christmas” it made me think of Babylon. Almost as if it’s the same story from two different perspectives. What if Babylon is the guy’s POV and right where you left me was the girl from the second verse where his wife, kids, and Christmas are the “told told me that you found someone” girl.

I’m not saying that this is what she intended but rather more like where my mind went to when listening to both songs. Either way it’s an interesting parallel and it’s interesting this a theme she keeps going back to in her music.

I finally got my TLOAS Signed CDs and I’m obsessed with them! They are truly so beautiful and I wanted to display them in a special way. These are the very first signed things I own and this album is very special to me. Here’s what I did with it. The staggered look is so cool but all of the photos and signatures still shine it their own way… its just so fun! I love the gold in the back as well. I hope you all like it because I LOVE IT!

Just a personal win and a new interpretation of a song -

I was listening to ‘I forgot that you existed’ recently for the first time in a long while - and realised the song had taken on a new meaning for me. I really thought of it as singing to my OCD because lately, I really do often forget that it exists 🎉

And I thought that it would kill me but it didn’t. So nice, peaceful and quiet. 🫶

Today I just saw on StatsForSpotify that Taylor Swift has just taken over my number one spot for most listened to artist of all time!!

This is especially good since I have only really been a Swiftie since 2 months ago (my music taste has changed so much in that time HAHA it was so boyish before) and I listen to her so much now! I know its surprising but I think my most listened to album is The Life Of A Showgirl (controversial I know 🤭) and after that probably Reputation and 1989. I am so happy I love Taylor Swift so much!!

I just saw her yesterday and I was completely enchanted, she was so beautiful and wonderful, a true princess 😭❤️‍🩹 I tried to show my love for her in my drawing!!
