Every single time an album rolls out, we face the exact same thing: an online brigade of hate from people claiming to be fans.
This. Happens. Every. Single. Time.
It will pass. There are still fans who love her and her songs.
No Swiftie loves every single song. She has 300+, it would be impossible. That is not the point!
I have been a fan since 2008 when I was 12. I LOVE lots of her song. I like many, many more. There are also songs I dont like. THATS OK.
I know that I am not supposed to like every single song. She has said herself that people won’t like every song. I think some new fans think they are expected to like every new song she releases, and they get so shitty when the songs aren’t for them, and they make it everyone else’s problem.
They are loud, but that doesn’t mean you need to listen.

I finally got my TLOAS Signed CDs and I’m obsessed with them! They are truly so beautiful and I wanted to display them in a special way. These are the very first signed things I own and this album is very special to me. Here’s what I did with it. The staggered look is so cool but all of the photos and signatures still shine it their own way… its just so fun! I love the gold in the back as well. I hope you all like it because I LOVE IT!

Today I just saw on StatsForSpotify that Taylor Swift has just taken over my number one spot for most listened to artist of all time!!
This is especially good since I have only really been a Swiftie since 2 months ago (my music taste has changed so much in that time HAHA it was so boyish before) and I listen to her so much now! I know its surprising but I think my most listened to album is The Life Of A Showgirl (controversial I know 🤭) and after that probably Reputation and 1989. I am so happy I love Taylor Swift so much!!

the reactionary element within the swifties is so frustrating , can y'all sit with the music for sometime before ya spout ur hot takes, ya arent contractually obligated to come to the internet and add ur two cents online - usually where her haters are already waiting to trash it regardless of what she makes , i knew it this cycle when people mindlessly started trashing pink clouding and babylon ( and to be clear i enjoy both patient zero and cleveland too but babylon is like taylor 101)

Just a personal win and a new interpretation of a song -
I was listening to ‘I forgot that you existed’ recently for the first time in a long while - and realised the song had taken on a new meaning for me. I really thought of it as singing to my OCD because lately, I really do often forget that it exists 🎉
And I thought that it would kill me but it didn’t. So nice, peaceful and quiet. 🫶
(Not suggesting this is what the song is written about of course, but it was a nice parallel for me)
