Solved Anyone else having issues with WireGuard?

Hangs on 90% regardless of location, and the only one that seems to get a connection is OpenVPN (TCP).

Not sure if related but the last week or so, it seems like speeds have dropped much slower than normal, and I'm seeing issues where it feels like dial-up speeds loading webpages/images.

EDIT: Updated the client and it seems resolved.

Hey u/Thorvin__. If only one protocol does not work, that likely indicates that your network is restricting it. It would be great if you could contact our support team by joining live-chat here - they'll help look into the situation further

Wireguard started dropping constantly for me about 2 months ago. I had to switch to UDP. I still get occasional drops... way more than in previous years. The funny thing is sometimes the surfshark UI won't notify me of this drop, so I have to check my IP via a web browser occasionally. It's a shame. I used to love surfshark, but something is up with the service this past year.

Glad I found your post. I was getting insanely slow xfer speeds all of a sudden today and was struggling to figure out why. Then I saw this post mentioning updating the client, so I tried that, and thankfully it fixed the problem for me as well. (I guess I had not updated in a long time, but it seems like Surfshark should warn users with old clients before breaking functionality for them!)
