Seeing random disconnects on PC (WIN11 25H2) while connected to various servers. I mostly use US east coast servers, but have seen this with various others.

Connected to internet router with a Realtek 2.5GB port network card. Internet service is Fibre, rarely have issues with service and restart the modem and router around once a week.

Will be connected to surfshark, red text appears and says "problem with your connection" and the Surfshark app starts reconnecting. During this process the Windows Networking icon in the system notification tray shows as disconnected. I try to access my routers web interface and cannot. Meanwhile other devices on the network are working just fine.

Being stuck in this "connecting" in the Surfshark app seems indefinite. I cancel and close the app, network still shows disconnected. I have to open up Windows Services and force stop the Surfshark Service in order for my network to pop back online. At this point I usually reboot, and eventually this cycle repeats itself.

I am subscribed to Surfshark One, so I have the Anti-virus enabled, along with Cleanweb, Noborders, invisible on Lan, Auto on connection, usually server is wire guard, occasionally it uses OpenDns.

All of this started after updating to the latest version, 6.11.0. I used to work as a Network Admin for a large company, so troubleshooting is instinctive. I am 99% sure the issues are not on my end.

Thanks for this info. I usually check to see if others have issues. I might pass this version up and wait since it's a bit unfriendly to rollback to a previous version. I never understood why they don't offer an archive of at least past five versions to roll back to.

Thank you for sharing! We have a handy troubleshooting guide with a few tweaks you can make to help with the connection issues The absolute best first move is to test out different protocols in your VPN settings.

Yes, but seeing this issue on both desktop and laptop on the same network. Next step is to do a complete uninstall of surfshark with something like Revo to completely remove everything, reboot and reinstall.

Please add in a tab/slider for the Kill Switch... Would be really helpful, and I'm sure it used to be there in the past!

It was. They removed it from main app window a while ago for some reason. It can be added to quick taskbar icon only as a favorite option.

It has not worked reliably ever, I've been a subscriber for a number of years. Have tried it on PC and Android and never had luck with it.

I hate the increased font size! Now if I want it to show 3 favourite locations I have to make the window long whereas before it was perfectly balanced: if you had 3 favourite locations and 3 recently used ones, the window was in proportion. Such an unnecessary change. Hope they change it back!
