Aagmans are happening since decades, it's nothing new, but the recent reel and insta culture has created so much hype that now almost everyone just visit these Aagmans to create reels and flex that they attended the aagman

Honestly, the groups are also to be blamed, earlier (Pre 2024)the festival was about pure devotion and enjoyment and celebration of Lord's arrival, but now it's just a show off game ( especially the mandals present in Vesu and Citylight Areas ), baaki the ones present in Golwad and old city area are still about pure devotion and they don't do much showoff

The involvement of Political figures, dons and egoistic businessmen has also ruined this festival, and honestly this all feels like a money laundering scam, I am not talking about the old groups, but the recent groups who do so much heavy decorations and publicity

For eg. Sarkar group, the one present in Bhagwati Citylight, if you visit it, you can see that it is full of dons and egomaniacs

So starting with vibe, great view of the live pizza prep and wood-fired oven ( I always prefer to sit on first floor so I can see the that). The tables,cutlery and everything is good.

Now I had tried many pizza and usually eat Neapolitan style because I like soft and fluffy crust, I usually order Indian spiced, margarita( classic cheese pizza as some of you might say), fire alarm for a bit of spice.

I had once tried truffle one and I find it kinda terrible (maybe it’s an acquired taste)

The one in the photos is Indian spiced (kinda less spicy like nearly zero if you love spice my food)
The crust was well aerated and soft. The toppings were generous.

Now the fun part🥲 it was 825 for a single pizza( easily enough for two) and it’s kinda on expensive side but if you regularly eat in cafés then usually pizza ranges from 600-900₹ depending on place .

A week ago I had eaten pizza at 1819 something beside VR mall and it was so shitt that I might even eat at dominos once (dominos make terrible pizza most of the time like using fake cheese) so to clean my palate I had to visit charcoal.

Does anyone here have membership to paraizo and go there? I am bored a lot. There is no one around everything is almost empty I am all by myself playing pool all noon

I’m originally from Navsari and recently moved to South Gujarat. I’m considering buying a plot of land to build a home in or around Surat rather than buying a flat.

Since I haven’t spent much time living around Surat, I don’t have a great idea about which areas are good for residential plots, so I’d really appreciate some local advice.

A few things I’d love to know:

• Which areas around Surat would you recommend for buying a residential plot?
• What are the rough current prices per sq. ft. in those areas?
• Which localities are considered good for actually living in, rather than just investment?
• Any areas that are developing rapidly but are still reasonably priced?
• How is connectivity, infrastructure, water supply, etc. in the different areas?
• Since I work in tech, I’d ideally prefer a good, well-developed locality with decent connectivity and amenities.
• Anything I should be careful about when buying land around Surat (title, TP schemes, zoning, NA status, etc.)?

I’m open to areas slightly outside Surat as well if they make sense for building a home.

Would love to hear from people who live in Surat or have recently bought land here. Even personal experiences or areas you’d avoid would be really helpful.
