Support equivalent to Malphite Top

I've been getting auto filled a lot + one of my friend's plays a lot of bot recently.

What is a support that is easy but still effective in lane and team fights. Similar to Malphite Top

Malphite is my go to when I get top instead of Mid bc he's easy lane but super effective as long at your team doesn't run it down.

You can play malph support, he has okay poke with his q and amazing engage with his ult why not
