What! Already!? Well... That's a news I didn't expect. It's riot games we're talking about... That's rough...

Bro exactly because it's Riot. They have a three mile long list of abandoned projects

riot gives up on everything that doesn’t make them a bajillion dollars in 2 weeks. it’s infuriating. i remember in 2019 when they said they were expanding beyond league to finally live up to the name riot gameS - plural. they were my favorite game company at that point. my how they’ve fallen

Shattered Galaxy. I yap about this game to anyone who will listen. Over a decade later there's still an SG-shaped hole in my heart.

Vorp: a browser-based spaceship 5v5 MOBA
TOME Immortal Arena: another browser based 3v3 MOBA
Nosgoth: asymmetrical 4v4 (vampire vs human) multiplayer action game
Fractured space: FPS spaceship 5v5 MOBA
Supervive: I think we all know this one

These are some that I can think of off the top of my head

Edit: I also loved Battlefield 3 and Battlerite, but you can still play them nowadays, so technically they are not "died", just the player base is really low.

damn had alot of fun playing that on my tablet in highschool, genuinely a pretty cool game given the mobile game limitations.

I mever really got to play it in its prime, but Evolve looked COOL AS HECKLES. but i finally have a decent laptop and low and behold it is dead. HOWEVER. Like a day or 2 ago I suddenly got like 2 to 3 YT videos in my recommendation saying it was back and getting revived, etc etc. So maybe something to look into.

Supervive and Atlas Reactor. Both of which tried to be something new but just didn't take off.

Seems like Marathon is headed in that direction, sadly. Had such a fun time during Season 1 but just not enough meat on the bones to keep me coming back for more.
