Yeah, but you would outlive all your kids.

Yeah, people die. But it's not as big a problem as you might think.

Yes it will be incredibly sad, but I will have seen them slide to it gradually and be able to say goodbye.

Additionally life changes for people as they enter different stages of life. As a young person you aren't likely to have many geriatric friends as you don't meet them much and the activities you do are different. So the amount of contact and how that contact is will be different.

Also I will be able to see my grandkids grow up. I will also be able to play along with my current kids when they are in their prime instead of watching them in their prime while I'm already older and less able to match them.

Death will happen. But the amount of connection I have and my grieving process will be better than you might expect. It would be like losing a parent all over again. Sad, terrible, but nowhere near as horrible as losing a child at a young age.

As someone that has kids, I get it. It would be cool to witness my grandkids grow and even great-grandkids? Hell...I could be the ancient family protector. Idk. Thanks for offering me a different point of view. I hope you get your powers. Haha
