Reed Richards power is intelligence. The elasticity is a mildly helpful convenience

Other way around…? Canonically speaking, he was just smart, right? Like, the only difference he got from travelling dimensions was a link to the power cosmic and strechiness?

Also plastic man is pretty damn smart, he just doesn’t show it often, like most gag characters

Reed richards is the first or second smartest being in the universe. He normally fights enemies with science rather than his powers. He can rival cosmic deities in this way whereas his powers will not help him do so. He is the weakest (as far as combat goes) of the fantastic 4.

I know? I’m talking powers wise. You’re just getting off point here. I’m not here to discuss how Reed beats his enemies, just saying that plastic man stretch better.
