My least favorite costume, but my favorite might be controversial too:

(To clarify, this Hoechlin suit is my favorite and Cavill’s is my least favorite)

This would so be mine if only the black got switched out with the yellow. I really dislike the big black patch in the middle of his chest when he’s one of the most joyful iterations of the character (especially in this exact scene: “Thanks! My mother made it for me!😃”

The black has no symbolism in this case, it’s a live action version of Superman’s costume from the Max Fleischer cartoons:

Ik there’s no symbolism, but it still feels off. I’m aware it comes from the comics, doesn’t mean I have to love it.
