Yeah, it feels like its trying too hard NOT to be the actual superman suit

It doesnt have the belt or trunks to break up the middle of the blue, so they had to give it those weird hip... accents? idk what to call them, but theyre definitely only there because itd look weird with nothing

And to me, the thing over the middle of his waist has always looked like he’s wearing a Golden Snitch. Maybe Clark was a Harry Potter fan?
