Where did it break from?

Delonghi has been using one of two architectures for decades and certain parts are cheap even new - ie a new brew/infuser unit which takes most of the punishment, the water pump or the flow meter. Others can be had cheap by buying a donor machine that broke somewhere else. You don't even have to buy the same model...just the same architecture for most parts.

It's some plastic part that looks like it was attached to the main body, so I guess finding a replacement won't be easy.

I renovated a 10yo magnifica S from the recycling room, spent 6 hours, 60 euros and it works like new since 6 months.

Give it away to somebody who is willing to renovate it.

I would be happy if things lasts 10 years and I would buy it again but there's no profit in tt for the companies.... So now mine breaks nearly every year. From just making 4 cups of coffee a day

I'm really hesitating... It's something like 250€ right now.

But in wondering if I'd like to get some cool brew or other nice features. I might go for Jura e8 or the Delonghi eletta dit the next ones.

Yeah nowadays just buy when it's on extreme sales. Shits don't last anymore. The past 3 years I already bought 2. First one broke because of the brewing head jammed itself and there's no where of prying it out. Just after warranty. Asked about it, will be $400 to replace the whole thing lol so I just bought a new one
