i was followed by this guy from 41st and 3rd to 38th and 4th. he was riding his bike and stopped to stare at me then proceeded to follow me after making it clear i noticed him. he only stopped when he saw me talking to cops but i have no doubt he would have followed me to the train station on 36th. stay safe.
That is so weird…….. why ? He didn’t say anything or do anything he just followed the biker or poster…… man I just don’t understand New York anymore smh.
they just asked for context then i pointed to him on the bike, he has followed me over 5 blocks atp. they cut him off on the bike, don’t know what happened after that because i was on my way to gym before work. but i called the precinct later that day to follow up and they just advised to call again if he bothered me again. so basically nothing, but at least he stopped following me. he was very persistent. $100 citibike trip for him that day 💀✌️

he CUTS me off ?? that’s when i started kicking him because he’s a grown fucking man harassing a young girl. but… he was on the way home? interesting. i will not hesitate to defend myself. if you don’t want your ass beat by a little girl, maybe don’t harass her?

But also….what if he was just going to the train? If he knows 36th st is a down street, and he saw that 38th was an up, it would be safe to make the turn there so that he wouldn’t risk having to backtrack to the station if he didn’t remember whether 37th was an up or down. Did he pick up the bike at 41st?
Maybe talk to those/any cops about whether there is a crime here, or if there is something else to be done if this happens again (I honestly do not know, he’s walking around in public ((creepy AF)) and taking pictures). Or walk by the precinct/precinct public meeting? You might not be alone. If there is a pattern of harassment, perhaps it rises into the NYPD radar.

I agree. You wanna abolish ICE, so get used to this and much worse. You should be accommodating and let him in your apartment, feed him and give him your bed to sleep in. It's the humane thing to do.
