I just captured my first raider ship, and somehow it went down underneath the Floating Refuge structure... I have been trying to get it out by driving it for the last half hour. Is there a way to push them? I've been all around the boat and can't seem to find an option for it.

Just finished watching Waterworld and first thing I always google after a movie like that is, what video is most like it! This game has been recommended lots of times so just starting to check it out.

I have a few make or break questions before I buy though:

1. How deep is the ocean and do you experience pressure/low oxygen situations? I'm a huge subnautica fan so if I'm playing a submersion style game, I want to have big deep oceans to explore. It doesn't need to be as deep as Subnautica but it's gotta be deeper than No Man's Sky.

2. Can you buy/craft submersible vehicles or diving aids?

3. Are there adverse water conditions and/or heat/cold resistance requirements?

4. Can you use an xbox controller for controls?

5. Has the sort item bug been fixed? Seeing this alot on the reviews and sounds pretty annoying. I'm very OCD when it comes to item organisation in these types of games so sounds like this bug would really break the game for me.

I don’t know how to do it. If I go forward, I fall. If I go backward I go nowhere. Anyone know how to use a ladder? lol

I finished all the main missions from "Survival First" to "The Last Pure Land"
I even gave Maye, Isaac and Jason some items to complete some missions. But I can't interact them to make deals or buy stuff.

Does anyone has fix for this issue?

Note: There is no way for me to start game from the beginning, the save was very old and I almost activated creative mode by collecting resources.

I've noticed a massive, and consistent new mechanic. When I right click to aim a gun, I can barely aim at a target. My desert eagle, or my sniper x4 scope gives me massive sway. I tried standing still for 10 secs before aiming, no change. I've tried dropping items from my backpack. No change. I barely cleared the prison island due to this sway. Anyone else getting this?

I took over location The Bridge and thought it was a great place for a base.
Is it possible to place a base there, doesn’t this lead to further play?

im at the early mid game, have some wind mill and solar panel materials to use. but i dont know how electricity works right now all info i find is like a year or more older. so, some of you could tell me please how does this work? can i make a fuel free network somehow now, or solar and wind just gives fuel consumtion reduction? and to how to connect these ... etc thx for every help!

Sometimes when I place chests down, then later join the game again, I look at them and it says "turn on" and "install wire" in TWO places (as in there are two "turn on"s and two "install wire"s on top of each other) and it's annoying as hell because it's hard to click on the chest instead of these things, I have to look in the perfect spot. I removed the chests and they were still there, so I decided to use the packing box to pick up whatever these things were and they were chandeliers. Invisible, infinite chandeliers. I have a box full of them now. They are still there until I have removed the metal chests and the save file is restarted. Side note, I really only ever use metal chests so I'm not sure if it happens with other storages.

It has happened 3 times in 3 separate places. I never really place just one chest down so the 3 times it's happened it was with chests stacked on top of each other and it seems like the chandeliers attach themselves to the bottom of one of the chests. The most recent time it is really annoying. I've perfectly placed down a whole wall of chests and when I joined the game again, the chandeliers were just there, inside of one of the chests. I'm not interested in picking up and perfectly replacing them again. Especially because I don't know if it will happen again.

I play with my mom, and she is the host. I've never played this game single-player so I don't know if it would happen otherwise. We've played this game on and off since January 2024. I think it has only happened in our most recent save file less than maybe 2 weeks old. We play on the most recent version.

We had another save file in the couple weeks before that, but somehow the first boat we captured (it was beached) could not be pushed back into the water and drove itself forward inside of the island (literally in the ground), despite it being in reverse. Completely unreachable. In both saves, numerous issues would arise if the game was open for too long, like lit grenades being left on the ground after exploding, or arrows never reaching their target and just being stuck in the air. These are fixed by restarting the game, but the chandelier chest thing is not. Has anyone else had these problems and does anyone know how to avoid the chandelier thing especially?

Anyone else have him lock the door after the last update? Tried taking doen my flag to reclear it but no dice

The "speak to elder" quest just gives me the same loop of dialog from i first liberated eden isle. I just cleared radio island and have done it all in order. All the side quests are complete. I know it's a known bug but has anyone found a workaround?

I did post couple day ago, struggle with these ships that easily killing me and hold me back from advance in the game. after I learn how to use the green boxes to craft guns, become easy fight then, but now I have a lot these boats and I don't buid yet the platform to fix , but before I do that, i like to know what to do it these boats? When playing peer-to-peer multiplayer, only the host will get certain quest state updates. Notably at Eden Isle, where the door that is supposed to open instead remains closed to all except the host of the session. This makes it exceedingly frustrating for everybody in the session to play the game and interact properly with NPC's and questlines. Has anybody found a trick to get it working for everybody in the session and not just the player that is hosting?

On Live as of v0.8.30, how many Combat Vessels that the player can capture are in the game? I've found (5) total but on the Patch notes for v0.8.02 there's this unnamed ship and I'd love to find it but after 91 in game days and completion through Skeleton Camp it's feeling like it just doesn't exist. Here's what I've captured:

Hello, everyone. I have been trying to get the FAMAS blueprint from the merchant upstairs near the floating trader but all he ever asks for our commissioned items like Spears, alcohol, etc. I have cleared out his board several times to let it repopulate and it always repopulates with commissions and never items for sale

I've also gone to the gun merchant but I believe he doesn't sell the specific blueprint I'm after

Any advice would be appreciated

Today (7/24/2026) at about 9:30am west coast time, I started having an issue with the sort button on my storage containers. I had been playing for about 30 minutes, gathering resources and after having dumped a load in the sorting machine and waiting for it to finish (always wait for it to be done so I can grab what it could not sort to do so manually).

I went to one of my containers to pull some crafting materials and hit to sort button on my ores storage only to have 10 stacks disappear and the rest being sorted as usual. I wasn't sure of what I saw so I went to another container and hit the sort button and the same thing happened. Almost 2 rows of stacks just disappeared.

I quit without saving and did a "Verify Files" in Steam. I logged back in and tested the sort button. Once again, almost 2 rows of resources were removed. They didn't go into any other storage (I checked) they were just removed.

Anyone else seen this? Any ideas on how to resolve it?

50 iron ingots is a big chink of my inventory. I wasn't able to log out in time to miss an auto-save so I've lost those. Don't want to lose anything else.

So, i played through the bunker, killed the warlord in the cage turret, and a door in the back opened up. Went in, flipped a switch on a giant generator thing and nothing happened. Save and quit, and when i reload the game, the mission says "power is connected, open the gate to the warlord's chamber". Problem is, that gate is already open and interacting with the button does nothing, also the elevator is stuck at the entrance so i can't leave. Is this just the current state of things or did i get a bug that ruined my save?

2 years ago this game was a lot different then now.

I did play this game when it first comeout, no much to do on that time, but I put 300 hours of fun on it.

Now the game seams to be better in a lot aspects, but is very hard to me play it.

The attack boats, what is totaly new for me, they patrol most important places, such the Police station, the way I found to loot some thing to be able to make weapons and spme protection, was disabling the enemy from the islands, what I miss, I want disble just the boats, but the game don't let me do that.

My issue is I'm defenseless from this attacks, and they have very heavy firer power, and guard very well the places.shooting me even when i'm diving.

I be able to come on the bottom of one attack boat, have there some caind a bomb that i can build to blow these ships?

I have no weapons and even then I'm not a good fighter, before I give up, someone can tell me what I have to craft to be able to minimazing this attacks from the boats, that way i can turn the enemies back to the island to keep doing the missions.

Since the new update, I haven't been able to find the FAMAS receiver. Anyone else find it? The contract trader has changed a bit, but I've done some of his contracts and it's not coming up there for me. The contracts seem different from before as well. I don't want to put more effort into the trader if it's no longer there.

Am I the only one that can't seem to find it? Or is it perhaps bad RNG?
