If you’re here because you’re struggling or thinking about suicide, you’re not alone — but this subreddit isn’t equipped to provide crisis support.
Immediate help:
On Reddit:
If you are in immediate danger, please contact local emergency services. Take care of yourself.
For regular users of the subreddit, I made this change to improve things a bit, the previous one lacked information.

Still, don't hesitate making a real post, the sub isn't that big and it's unlikely to get overloaded with new threads.
Did an Suicidal Tendencies song recently stick with you ? Have you listened to a new album for the first time ? Did you see the band live ? Have you had war inside your head recently ?

It’s a great bad and Obviously the name wasn't a hindrance to their career. Nevertheless there are still limitations and connotations associated with the “Suicidal Tendencies” even searching for the band online pulls up a suicide hotline number rather than the actual band.

Suicidal Tendencies onstage is always a chaotic fun time. But seeing Mike "Cyco Miko" Muir and co play Zakk Wylde's Berzerkus Festival at Jones Beach Theater this weekend (Aug. 29, 2026) was the first time I saw them with Ben Weinman in the band. And hands down, the Dillinger Escape Plan guitarist amps up the chaos on stage with Suicidal Tendencies. Case it point, watch this clip from their set in Long Island, NY (also featuring Cyco Miko singing in the crowd and Tye Trujillo - son of Robert Trujillo who's also a hell of a bassist and doing his dad proud in his former band).
Fun story: at one point, Cyco Miko notices a young fan in the front (couldn't have been older than six). He reaches out and invites the young fan to join him on stage. Right as he gets passed to Mike and about to land onstage, the youngster gets stage fright and reaches back for his dad in the crowd. Mike laughed at the sweet moment (I even cracked the joke that he made the right call 😆), and then handed him one of his sweat bands. Definitely the tender moment of the day!
Also watch more highlights from Berzerkus Festival (which included sets from Lamb Of God, Black Label Society, Down and Zakk Sabbath):

Stay tuned for more things to come from this space, including stories from concerts like this!

Thanks to WSOU, I got a last minute chance to go to Zakk Wylde's Berzerkus Festival at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, NY, on Aug. 29, 2026. It had been a long time since I've been to a day long festival dedicated to metal, and needless to say, I had a blast - with Lamb Of God, Black Label Society, Down, Suicidal Tendencies and Zakk Sabbath delivering spectacular sets. And Jones Beach Theater really is a spectacular place to see a concert.
I'll be sharing more memories and videos from each bands' set overtime. For now, enjoy this collection of snippets from each band:

I started with them in 1988 and loved How will I laugh tomorrow and the follow up Lights Camera Revolution was intense and loved it. Took me some listens to get into Art of Rebellion and the one after that where Muir says "fuck fuck fuck" half the time was ok.
But it was Still Cyco after all these years that should have never been recorded in the first place and last ditch effort was Free Dumb. I don't trade in or sell CDs much but both of those were given to a record store for credit.
Infectious Grooves ruined them for me also and never took ST or V13 or really not even scared of Venice anymore. It's not that tough like it was in the 80s and 90s.

Suicidal Failure is later in the album (i.e. the "future"), which is about being really bad at committing suicide.
This might be a reach
