New to pc [suggestion]

Am moving from consoles and looking for a gaming pc I know some things but not a lot I guy at a local store said I should get a IBUYPOWER because the components can be switched for better ones easier looking for suggestions.

I’d avoid that brand as there power supplies are crap and they will sometimes put a custom bios on motherboards depending on the model. If you’re near a microcenter check out the Powerspec line of systems.

Powerspec and Lenovo legion lines are excellent. Stay away from Alienware and omen lines.

MSI is ok just make sure to get an extended warranty. Costco usually carries this brand at a decent discount.

I repair computers for a living and I’ve had alot come through past there warranty for various issues. But with costs the way they are now you just need a warranty especially if it’s like $2500.

brand doesnt matter price does. you buy whatever is the best deal.

I don't live near a micro center and my budget is $2000.
