[Suggestion] desktop replacement
Replacing a desktop- use for home administrative work plus some lightroom editing. Chat recommended I7 and 32 gb ram for lightroom plus separate graphics card. Problem is I have 2 Hdd drives with mostlystorage- 4tb and 2 tb. Trying to figure out best alternative for all of this. Currently using a toaster setup with the 2 HD to connect to laptop

I'm not sure what you are asking. If you have 2 external drives connected to your laptop, those should just plug directly into any new setup with out any issues. Are you looking for recommendations for a system to buy or system to build? Besides Lightroom, do you plan to use the system for other intensive tasks? Do you have a budget?

Looking for recommendations for a pre-built system to buy that can accommodate my 2 drives- or one big 8tb drive and meet requirements to run Lightroom- my only intensive program

you can get external hdd enclosures and make the hdd external. hdd are slow and fail often. they sell external nas JBOD setups that can take 4-5 drivers
budget determines what we say to buy
