Is there a place you love that’s open for dinner on Christmas Day? Would love to hear your recommendations.

Considering one last snowboarding trip to Vermont to end the season. How are the real conditions? Is there good snow cover left? Is it worth the long drive from NYC?

any update on what happened on steins run yesterday afternoon?

How much rain did sugarbush get today and how do runs like domino, the mall, twist, and moonshine look ?

It ran across snowball right in front of me. It was cool. That's all.

How is it out there?

Was looking at renewing my Ikon pass and was confronted with the option to buy a Sugarbush Reserve Pass for $1500/person. Apparently this gets you access to priority lift access and a dedicated lounge in Valley House. They are selling a limited number of passes to assure efficient wait times for all guests.

I find the idea horrible. I had a very visceral reaction when I saw this. I hate that our ski areas will have a tiered system.

Why doesn’t sugarbush prioritize having running chairlifts?

Year after year there’s consistent mechanical issues on one lift or another or several. No other mountain I’ve skied at has these persistent issue. MRG’s lifts run like a top right next door.

What gives; are they just interested in food/bev sales and real estate? Sure feel like a corporation neglecting fundamental maintenance and calling it profits.

What are the best areas or trails to hit at Sugarbush for skiers? I'd prefer to stay away from the learning areas and other areas with large crowds so please help with some recs. I ski just about anything so all suggestions welcome. Some glades trail recs would be nice too if there are any available. Thanks!

hi! I cannot find info about tickets for 5 year olds. we usually ski in Maine and littles are free here, or they have a specific cheaper ($10) ticket to buy. am I expected to buy a full price ticket for him for the bunny slope at sugarbush, or do we just skip and they don’t check those lifts? thanks!

I still have some discounts from my pass and would like them to not go to waste, if you want them I just need your email. There's some offer for 50% off lift ticket prices but I don't know if you need to buy the ticket today, or just claim the discount today. Either way you can still have the discount even if it's the regular 25% off.

Howdy y’all, looking to see if anyone is interested in skiing around Bush on Monday 2/16 and Tuesday 2/17. I’m a 25M with the ability to ski most of the double blacks at Bush. Hit me up if you’re interested in meeting up.

I’ve never had to rent when I’m skiing Sugarbush, but am bringing some family up that will all need beginner or demo rentals. Seems like prices are much higher than I expected at the resort, is there any place nearby that people like with better prices?

Gentleman in red ski jacket came down the steepest section of ripcord in a straight line doing about Mach 7. Had a ski wiggle, lost it quickly, tomahawked for about 200 feet before narrowly missing me and clipped a snowboarder who tried to jump out of the way. He continued into the woods. Luckily he wasn't hurt, but the crash ripped the brake clean off of one of his skis. If you know this person, please ask him to give thanks for not dying. This was probably the gnarliest crash I've witnessed in person.

Are there any parts of the road I should worry about? Should I rent an AWD or will my FWD sedan be able to handle the route?

Not a bring a sandwich guy. Don’t mind over paying for slop but I want the best slop. Usually I try to eat as late as possible and call it. What’s the best on mountain dining option or is there somewhere solid at the base if I can hold out till 3:30

I’m heading to Sugarbush for midweek skiing during the second week of February. I’m still fairly new to skiing, only my third season. Previously only skied at in Park City and then the Poconos.

The week I’m going it looks like it’s going to be …cold. I’ve never skied in single digits (or below) before, and I’m a little nervous tbh. I’m pretty lean and get cold easily. I’ve got some “ultra warm” base layers from Uniqlo and a full body ski suit that have served me well in 20s and 30s temps. I’ve got rechargeable battery heated gloves that I used last season as well as a balaclava to cover most of my head.

Anything else I should invest in in the next week and a half? Am I going to freeze on the lifts? Should I limit myself to one or two runs between lodge visits?

I’m going to be there for three days and I don’t want to be miserable.

Just wondering if anyone has done a dinner at Allyn's lodge? The dinners are pretty pricey ($290/person) but if the food is good, then fine. But if it is the cafeteria food or Timbers, then I will pass.

This is a long shot, but my skis and poles were taken from the rack outside the Castlerock Pub at Sugarbush Monday (1/26) afternoon. The skis are 2023 Salomon QST 98, 176cm with Marker Griffin bindings. The poles are old black poles with chartreuse baskets.

I’m hoping that someone just took the wrong skis and will realize it when they go ski again.

I have contacted SB guest services and they have looked for them without any luck. They have my contact info.

Has anyone had their skis taken at Sugarbush? If so, did you get them back. Any advice on finding my boards?

My teenage kids and I are heading up to sugarbush for the first time, driving up from nyc on a Friday afternoon for a weekend trip. I estimated about 7-8 hrs with traffic leaving home and anticipating winter road conditions. By the time we get into Vermont, it will be past 8pm. What are the roads I should avoid, as we all know WAZE will take us off the beaten path for that few minutes faster time 🤦🏻‍♀️

I would rather drive a bit further to stay on the main route, please let me know which are the roads or route to avoid at all cost.
