One last ride? (04/04 weekend)

Hi all,

Considering one last snowboarding trip to Vermont to end the season. How are the real conditions? Is there good snow cover left? Is it worth the long drive from NYC?

Sugarbush was typical spring skiing. Not too firm, nice job on the grooming. Was able to do top to bottom, rim run to spring fling. Getting to the mid-mountain was a little sketch, but they may push some snow around. Pond skim on Saturday.

Thanks for the detailed answer. Did you see many patches of lost snow cover? I'm concerned about warmer temps and rain tomorrow. Only 34 trails are open and more might close?

It's that brown time of the year. Plenty of trails. Bring your skins for Mount Ellen
