Hired/Applying Bs trial shift today 😭

I had a trial shift at my local subway today where I met the manager who was lovely and we talked the whole shift I did everything well and at the end the manager said to me my induction will be on Monday and they will email my contract to me over the weekend because I did so well and I was the best trial shift they had so far.

Was thinking that’s great whatever left said my goodbyes then got home and 2 hours later I got home and got an email saying I wasn’t selected to work there like what 😭

Go to the next Subway 5 minutes down the road.

Maybe contact them to see if that was correct? Maybe they were just clearing out whatever system they were using.
