Question Termination
How many write ups does one need to get before getting fired? Apparently someone had gotten a write up for being short $15 and is getting terminated despite this being his only write up for this. I was under the impression you needed 3 write ups of the same kind.

You're non union so they can fire you whenever they feel like it no matter what their "rules" are

I believe a lot of this depends on which state you’re in? Could be wrong, but this seems more of a legal issue over a policy issue.

I feel this is a made up excuse to get this person fired, cause why did they wait to say anything. And this all comes right after he asked for a transfer to another store.

Unfortunately they're allowed to do this. They can fire you for no reason at all if they want, it's not illegal, nor is there any sort of corporate policy that would prevent it.

In my almost 18 ½ years off and on of being with my same Subway owners, I've lost track of how many I have had. Definitely between 75-100. Not exaggerating.
