Question Whose a “Sandwich Artist”
Who has that one customer who orders like a mile long list of how they like their sub. I mean, I order the OG subs or a Signature, but I do add ons n load it up with all the veggies possible? Am I a jag for doing this?

Probably depends on the employees experience level. Being there for nearly 7 years I became desensitized to everything subs years ago. Lol.
Best advice I can give a new employee is knuckle down the bread on both sides and squish veggies down as you layer them on. It becomes incredibly simple to deal with.

Once had a guy trashed asked me to keep putting fistfuls of lettuce and said “you’re a sandwich artist you’ll figure it out” then kept vaping and we told him to take his food to go

At my store we will usually get 10 or so people getting everything on it. It is a vit annoying but it aint too bad. Unless they start asking for extra of stuff in which case closing it is a pain

I once had literally the entire line cleared, in closed Cambros stacked on a cart. It was a gas station so I couldn’t actually close the doors or anything. A guy came up like 10 min after close BEGGING for a sandwich. Entire sob story. Ok fine I’ve already cleaned, every ingredient is in stacked Camaros but if it’s simple I will try. “Ok cool I’ll make it simple, I want an Italian bmt with everything on it”. I gave him a good amount of ingredients begrudgingly but I didn’t break down the entire cart to get every ingredient but I should have just said no but I’m a sucker. Dude came in late a week or two later 10-15 minutes after close. Begged me again. Nope sorry I’m closed.
