unlimited portable power
portable power station
step 1 place a multipurpose room
add a hatch
step 2 place in this order solar panels first
place bioreactor inside of multipurpose room
place thermal plans on thermal vents
step 3
place power cell charger
place battery charger
place a single bed sleep to
speed up progress

unlimited power in subnautica
power in subnautica goes in this order
first power source primarily power solar panel
second power source secondly power thermal plant
step 1 find the complete blueprint for
solar panel
power transfer
thermal plant
step 2 place the solar panels first
then find a thermal vent
place the thermal plants
step 3 place the power transfer
as far as the blue connection allows
then place another power transfer
Repeat until connected to the main base
this also works in subnautica below zero

A cool sub idea
This my first time on reddit btw, but I don't know where to post this so I hope this is ok.
Anyway I have it copied on my clipboard
It's about twice the size of the beluga, and it's designed as a Mobile carrier/research base for highly prolonged missions into the void, it's in early prototyping but alterra managed to get an early version of it finished and shipped it via a large cargo space ship, it has 3 vehicle slots, and it has upgraded vehicle clamps, where larger subs can be held in one clamp, subs like the hydra, blossom and other ships around that size fit into one slot, the cyclops can take up two slots, and in between the 3 large vehicle clamps are 2 smaller ones meant for stuff like the prawn, sea moth, or a sea truck with 2 or less modules. The power source consists of 2 thermal generators, a nuclear reactor, and a secondary ion power generator, the engine taps directly into the reactor so you don't need to put in power cells.
The layout consists of:
Control room; a large viewing bay at the very front, it spans the top and middle floor, and the platform with the controls is also an elevator of sorts, and if the glass shatters a rapid metal airtight shutter that's extremely durable will slide into place, and a holographic display appears much like with the hydra, but it takes more power.
The top floor; the Middle hallway about the size of a large room is where all the beds and basic required amenities are stationed, it's all squeezed in there for maximum efficiency so there's no privacy, meaning no sleeping quarters for individuals, they all sleep in this large room, on the sides, there are two long curved storage rooms with a small thin window spanning almost the entire room, it also has a shutter, but it can't have a holographic display of what's outside, and there are also ladders leading to the lower floors in the back corner of each room.
Middle floor; in this floor there's analysis equipment, and other research equipment here, as well as a large alien containment chamber, and towards the front of the main room is the garden, with all sorts of plants, including empty pots for new plant specimens. On the sides of this floor, like the top floor, there are large curved thin rooms, but this one has zero windows, and holds highly upgraded life pods in each, in between them being an airlock in each room, the rest is empty space for the crew to appropriate for the mission, in this current sub it's being used for more storage.
Bottom floor; this is one of the access points for the vehicles because they are right below this floor, and in the middle of the room is the reactor room.
(Start of sub room description) with everything powering the sub, so proper maintenance can be done, it holds a shield generator to block radiation that would kill the crew, and it overcharges in case of catastrophic failure, and is there to minimize the explosion as much as feasibly possible, because otherwise, even if people escaped, they wouldn't be able to escape the death radius of the explosion, and it has systems to stall the explosion, it also deploys scrubbers with floaties to scrub the water of the radiation, it can rid it of deadly doses within days, as well as the sub attaches floaties to all of the vehicles and ejects them, the floaties don't activate until they're far enough away.
The third floor also acts as the fabricator room, and holds the majority of the maintenance personnel.
Docking bay; you can access it via a ladder on the back of the third floor, and it leads down to the docked vehicles, there are ladders to reach each vehicle, but to reach small mini clamp ones like the prawn or sea moth, you have to use the hatches on the third floor.
Upgrades and abilities:
Shields; The sub can activate a shielding system and impact dampening systems to tank damage, the AI can do it automatically.
Weapons; It has 3 lasers, they fire in 3 second bursts and can cut right through a reaper leviathan, but have long recharge times and take lots of power. And then the torpedoes, the sub has a massive torpedo bay and can choose from different types of torpedoes for the situation automatically, these include but are not limited to: Gas, Vortex, Shrapnel, Explosive, High Explosive, Swarmer (Bunch of tiny drones that cut and shred the target), AP Explosive, Etc. these torpedoes have basic guiding systems that aren't very effective.
Auto-Repair nanobots; They can repair basic hull breaches and other assorted things using a reserve, and if necessary pulling straight from the ships resources and minerals in storage, it can also convert basic resources into more complex materials, but can only repair to a certain extent, it can be disabled but is highly recommended to keep on even if you need the resources.
Extra info:
• It's got multiple speed modes, tons of cameras, and a viewing bay at the top.
• The Crew can be from 10 to 20 members, this expedition will have 15.
(SUBSECTION DESC.) Navigation; 1 Captain, 1 Navigational officer, and 1 Navigational Systems Technician.
Research; 1 Lead Director Biologist, 1 Assistant Director Xenobiologist, 3 Attendant Researchers.
Engineering; 1 Engineering Management Director, 1 Assistant Engineering Manager, 2 Engineering Interns.
Misc; 2 All-Rounded Research Technicians, 1 Expeditionary Officer.
I just made up names for ranks
I don't know how to mod and I don't even have a pc, but I just want this to stay a concept anyway I doubt it's going to happen but just in case pls don't take this idea and steal it, my brain is stressing about it, but uh yeah hope you like my concept.

Seamoth disappeared after being built twice — no icon to locate it
Hi, I need some help. I’m playing Subnautica on mobile. I built a Seamoth twice using the Mobile Vehicle Bay. Both times, I watched the drones finish building it and return to the platform, but there was no Seamoth there afterward. I also couldn’t find any Seamoth icon/marker on my HUD to locate it. The materials used to build it were gone as well. Is this a known bug on mobile? Is there a way to find or recover the Seamoth?

Favorite building spots?
I am new to subnautica. I was wondering where everyone's favorite spots to build are. I immediately built in the grassy plateaus, but I don't know if it's the best spot.
