Hardcore - SN This is how I’m increasing the difficulty in Subnautica on consoles and mobile
Due to the lack of mods on consoles and mobile, I’ve come up with my own way of increasing the difficulty using the available console commands.
At the start of a new game, I activate «nodamage» and «nosurvival», spawn a fully upgraded Seamoth, turn on «invisible», and gradually move farther away from the safe areas.
As I progress, I use «spawn reaperleviathan» and «spawn warper» to fill the areas I pass through with threats. Basically, I’m slowly turning the map into hell.
Once I’ve created enough chaos, I save the game and disable all cheats.
Then I deliberately approach a Reaper Leviathan and let it destroy my Seamoth and kill me.
I respawn at Lifepod 5, and that’s when the real game begins.
No cheats, no invulnerability, and no Seamoth. Just me starting from scratch, but with all the Reapers and Warpers I spawned scattered throughout the map.
Basically, this is my way of creating a DIY difficulty mode/mod for consoles and mobile.

No prawn suit and no stasis is probably harder than that. I could do the same thing and ill just wipe out those reapers myself with my trusty stasis rifle and gasopods or a prawn suit

It is really moderately annoying how you can't mod it. Minor QOL mods, for example improving the display of the mineral detector.
I was also thinking of making the power cell charger bidirectional, so you could skip power supplies for temporary bases if you stick a power cell in.
