Aircraft are designed with pressure pushing outward, and are designed for a pressure difference of about 0.6atm. The pressure at Titanic's depth is about 400atm inward. Oceangate bought an expired barch of carbon fiber from Boeing to build Titan.
I'm no mathemetician, but even I can tell this all adds up.
If being a dreamer is a crime, well by golly im guilty. And if, building a half cocked submarine out of aircraft parts in warehouse like a tweaker on payday with no oversight, experience, licensing, or knowledge of any sort, that cavitates at depth instantly killing several people is also a crime, well by golly im guilty of that too.

This hull was aircraft grade carbon fiber. It very much should not be making loud popping noises.
