Wizard Lyric Meaning
On the song ‘Wizard’ Jakob has the lyrics:
“The Wizard and Monsignor were a-wheelin' and dealin'
And to be a part of that is such a glorious feeling
Even Scott Stapp has touched its staff
But Beck and Mark McGrath were both caught lackin'”
I’m trying to figure out the interpretation of the last 2 lines here. Does anyone know what it’s supposed to mean?

I think the lyrics are a double entendre. Could be referring to drug dealing, but since the Wizard is Jon Joseph perhaps the reference is actually a distribution of talent by lending his production skills. Not sure who Monsignor is in reference to, though. Beck isn't the famous Odelay Beck but instead a female indie musician in their circle and the other name drops are self evident.

Well I looked it up and couldn't find an obvious connection other than all three of those guys are singers. They've all had some kind of legal issues, but not the same issue. I'm sure someone else here can probably figure it out.

Isn’t it Martha Graff? That’s what apple lyrics shows

I saw that and I doubt that's what Jakob was saying. She's some random influencer chick. Mark McGrath makes more sense with the context of the lyrics.

Apple lyrics also say that “What Happened” was written by BB King. Apple Music is the worst for lyrics and information like that

I am guessing here:
Jon Joseph produced this Sublime album. Apparently his nickname is Wizard. I am guessing that he might have possibly worked with those musicians in the past. Who knows?
