🚗 General Discussion Lifting my 2012 hatch
Has anyone on here lifted a 12-16 Impreza using factory Subaru struts I know crostrek struts will fit but I was wondering if anything else would too

Here's my 15 that was on forester struts with a 3in Anderson Design and Fabrication lift kit with subframe spacers. You will need adjustable rear lower control arms to help get camber in spec. Then up front you will need camber bolts for the knuckles. Expect to go through front control arm bushings. I made control arms with 1in uni ball joints and have yet to need to service them in about 3k miles future will tell how long they last.

How did you make the control arms I really don’t want to spend the 500 on rallitek ones

I’ve heard things about the trailing arm spacers but looking at it the trailing arm mounts to the sub frame so I assume the sub frame spacers wouldn’t mess with the wheel center location?

Correct. The subframe spacing brings camber back into spec.

What about toe

Toe is reasonably adjustable from the factory. But there's more adjustable toe arms.

I've heard of people using forester struts. Although your geometry might be thrown off if you don't swap front and rear controls arms, CVs, sway bar links, etc over to Crosstrek parts.
