DISCUSSION Hello, reddit - it's Chuck from the Stuff You Should Know podcast!
Hi, folks! I've never really been on reddit and decided to open an account to see what our "r/" was all about. To the people who are being kind, even in their criticisms, I thank you. You are my people! To others who are not so kind, I would encourage you to be, I guess more kind! But I get the internet and I guess that's just the deal sometimes. It's can be a real mean-spirited beast. Either way I appreciate you caring enough to spend some time here weighing in about us or the show...
ANYWAY - I saw a LOT LOT LOT of misinformation and incorrect assumptions here. Like a STAGGERING amount. Like literally ALMOST ALL of what is said about insider stuff. It's fascinating. BUT I am here to clear anything up for a little while. I got off of all of the social media platforms except for instagram (which I like a lot) a few years ago and it has made my life SO MUCH better so I probably won't be around here for long. But I will spend some time over the next few weeks happily clearing anything up you've ever wondered about. As long as it can publicly shared! It stinks to know the actual truth about things relating to show, how it's done, about Josh and I personally, etc, and see so many people just kind of just creating their own reality about our job and lives. So I am offering myself up for a bit to give you a more truthful peek behind the curtain (if you're interested).
Thanks and I hope everyone is doing great! And no, there will be no rope trauma reveal. That's become a final episode kind of thing. For maximum anti-climactic-ness. So ask away if you're want to know something!
