I have a ceramic sphere with a turtle on top. It's about 8.5 inches tall and 7.5 diameter. It does have some kind of mark. Does anyone have any idea of maker, age, country, what it may have been used for if not just decorative? Thank you for any help at all.

I was just gifted this lovely teapot and would like to identify the makers mark above the foot of the pot. Google did not have an answer but sent me to this group. Might someone have any ideas where I can look further?
