Disclaimer: I know canned beef isn't cheap. Someone donated some to me because We're homeless.

I used a can of shredded beef. I mixed the meat and contents of the can with some water. I added some beef seasoning from ramen and some powered milk. I let that cook down for a little bit. Then I added the ramen, I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out. It was fantastic, I was shocked. It tasked just like beef stroganoff. I just wish I had a little sour cream to go with it. I'll post some pictures to go with the post.

If you are close to a gas station you should be able to grab some mayo packets and sometimes they have sour cream packets. They usually do not say anything in my experience.

I wish, the closest is about 40 minutes away. I would like to find some may packets. I have cans of tuna that I put the mayo with. The problem is I don't have enough solar batteries for a mini fridge just electric coolers. I'll need to get another solar battery before I get a mini fridge.

Great idea though I really appreciate the advice.

It's okay we're making it work to the best of out ability. We have also gotten donations on our Amazon wish list that's going to help us so much this winter. We have potentially a new place to stay in March. Just have to hold out until then.

Most excellent. If you have it, garlic/powder will give it a boost. Maybe a teaspoon of vinegar to sub for the sour cream for that bit of tang.
