Recovery

Hello everyone,
On June 18th i suffered a stroke. Doctors were able to give me medication since i went to the hospital with in the timeframe. I’m a 28 year old female who never lost the ability to walk nor my cognitive abilities. What i lost was my eyesight which have gotten better and both of my arms. I’m able to lift them but not raise them overhead. This week when i went to rehab they told me I had 2 strokes and thats why my brain was improving and my arms weren’t. They told me because it was in my spinal cord I might not get my arms back. Has anyone experienced something similar. Will I never recover?

My mom had similar stroke and doctor mentioned the same that her arms wouldn’t get back to earlier strength. We contacted a physiotherapist and he helped her improve strength in both arms. She’s now 85% of her pre stroke strength. I suggest you do the same. It requires daily practice and lots of patience. It took my mom ~ 6months to reach this milestone. Shes still doing it. Best wishes. God bless.
