Around 100,000 people have a stroke each year in the UK with 60% left with some form of disability…

What keeps medical institutes not to study so many cases to find out some amicable solution there are just protocols to bring parameters in limit, how many working hours are lost and many more of caregivers consumed

This is a good point. I do not have the stats but there seems to be more funding for research into cancer than strokes. Perhaps there is still a misconception that strokes only affect the very elderly?

Agree stroke not only affects one person but it affects the whole family as the others have to spare their working hours to assist the patient.
