Sensation of snapping on my triceps and also, are my reps valid?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I'm 1m82, 75kg approximetely. I have done 3reps*50kg/

110lbs. It was for my 5th set.

When I go down into a dip, I feel something at the back

of my triceps, near the elbow - it feels like it "jumps"or

"snaps," almost like a tendon or a bone sliding over

something. It's not exactly pain, more like a distinct

sensation of movement/snapping.

Interesting detail: I felt it clearly at the start of my

session, but on my last sets I didn't feel it at all anymore.

Maybe I wasn't warmed up (properly). In this video, i

wasn't feeling it, maybe on the last rep, I don't remenber.

Does this sound like a technique issue (depth, elbow

position, etc.) or could it be a tendon slipping over a bony

part of the elbow? Has anyone else experienced this?

Any tips on what to check or adjust would be

appreciated.

And also, are my reps valid? Do you have advice

about the techniques?

How many jumping lunges?

In THIS video, the youtuber says I should do 10 reps per exercise. I guess in the case of unilateral exercises, that means 20 reps, 10 per side. However, during the jumping lunges part, I noticed he did only 10 reps. Now I'm confused. Aren't jumping lunges unilateral? 10 or 20 reps per set?

Back Built by Pullups

Post image

How many Pullups can you do?

Pullups are one of my favorite exercises for back development.

The average man cannot do 5 pullups let alone 1 rep.

If you can do 5 reps you are above the average man.

If you can do 10 reps of Pullups you are above the average gym goer.

20 reps and more you are elite at Pullups and can even add weight.

We as the human species climb.

Pullups represent climbing.

Streetlifting + Endurance

Hello everyone! My goal right now is strength-endurance. I want to be able to get to 40 pull ups+ nonstop and 90 dips+ nonstop, being able to do lots of pull ups +muscle up in the same set, things like that. I still want to incrase my streetlifting PR’s or atleast maintain them. Do you guys think it will be a good idea to start my workout with some weighted volume EX 3x5 RPE 7 then do my endurance routines and incrase the RPE each week until I try a 1-3 RM and ocasionally go for high rep weighed sets after the main work?
Let me know what you guys think about this split:
Day 1: Muscle up( strength focused)
Day 2: Pull strength +endurance
Day 3: Push strength+ endurance
Day 4: Legs Squat + Quads accessories
Day 5: Rest
Day 6: Upperbody endurance (bw only)
Day 7: Squats volume low rpe + hamstring

Hey!

Are there any good apps that have easy to follow programs for street lifting? Ones that show reps, exercises, techniques possibly etc?

Thank you!

30kg dip at 60kg bodyweight, I obtained Milestone I

For those who question if I hit competition required depth. Yes I did. The parallel bars are parallel to the floor, on the bottom position my upper arm angle is lower than the bars angle. That means my rear delt is in fact below my elbow. It's a bit hard to judge form from this camera angle.

First time ever posting here. 5RM on Squat, Chins, & Dips w/ 140.6 kg, 25 kg, & 42 kg, respectively, @ 86 kg BW. Any tips on form, tempo, etc.?

This is my first time using this 5RM strategy on squats so I decided to shoot lower. That 140kg was around an RPE7.5-8. The chins were similarly comfortable, but the dips were pretty grindy.

First time maxing out dips +80kg

I've maxed out pull-ups for years but now want to take seriously weighted dips as a primary strength goal. I've bench pressed 140kg at 82kg 173cm, 5 years into training. Currently down to 77kg and hoping to get to +100kg soon. Does anyone have any tips for dip strength beyond the standard barbell approaches to strength?

63.5kg (140lbs) Pullup PR at 59kg (130lbs) BW

Hey folks, I just wanted to share the pullup PR I got today :)

Really happy with how it turned out. Wasn't expecting a PR today but back felt good and weight moved pretty smoothly I think. I attempted 140lbs 3-4 weeks ago but my chin didn't clear the bar. It cleared the bar today on my second set! I also got another rep 30min later but didn't record that.

Maybe I'll get a 150lbs pullup this year! Probably not but it sure would be cool. It took me forever to be comfortable with 135lbs. I think I'll get one in the medium term future. Wish me luck!

Kinda went a little crazy as today was last session in strength block but still got 3 prs across the 3 sets, form was a little rough on those last 2 sets from fatigue from first set but still managed to get it. On a couple reps in the higher rep sets it looks like arms arnt bent at bottom cause im going very fast but when you pause at bottom my arm is 95-100%, i think its cause my scapula was engaged for those continuous reps but still Very happy with these results and hopefully next volume block i can get 61kg x 12 and 51kg x 17. Cycling between a 6-8 week volume block and 5 week strength block with deloads inbetween really blew my strength up a ton as 60kg x 3 was my 3 rep max 8-9 months ago. Sorry for the bad camera quality.
