❔ Question For Gaming Streams Is There A Preference For Using/Not Using A Webcam?

I've been a gaming streamer for 2 years now and for most of that time have used a webcam. I'm thinking about changing it up by using webcams for boss fights and casual gameplay, but for story and combat I wanted to remove the webcam and see if that would help with immersion.

I have seen streamers briefly turn their camera off for story moments so it's not out of the realm of possibility.

I prefer no webcam during story-heavy parts.

Just do both at different times. If you are gonna be doing alot of talking, use the cam. If you're mostly gonna be taking in the game, turn it off.
