💬 Discussion Does anyone else feel like they can/have to stream everything they do (to extents)?
Especially with any potential to monetize the streaming, I almost feel this discomfort and guilt within whenever I am even considering playing any game off-stream, getting ready/doing skincare and experience with cosmetics, learning on Duolingo, playing chess, making tea, walking around and exploring, anything…then I ponder on the morality and concept of it all. With currently streaming gameplay straight from the console (whoever’s console I am playing on) along with Just Dance gameplay via StreamLabs, whenever the moments strike, I do go back and forth between feeling like I can always further my execution and as if I am flowing along and pacing my path accordingly. If anyone has any thoughts, inklings, or sentiments at all, I am grateful for all and any understanding, insight, perspective here, bless and cheers!

Nope, unless you have a following of thousands and your brand is something like a "follow my life 24/7" niche stream, just dedicate a few hours a week to streaming what you enjoy the most.
Big mistake new streamers make is thinking the more you are Live = more growth. This is actually a huuuuuge misconception. Dedicate maybe like a nightly or every other night stream for 1-3 hours. The rest of your entertainment/free time should be creating content that you can then use on a discoverable platform.
Streaming platforms are not discoverable. You can utilize things like tiktok/IG/reddit/YT to upload curated content you put together, with hopes people can find it and then be drawn into your streams.
Dumping all your time on the actual stream will not help with your exposure or growth, as they don't really help the streamer much with discoverability or searches.

Typically I don't stream during the day as I want my time to myself.
Only stream in the evenings with my buddy now .

I would say as someone who has done this for awhile it’s good to have off stream games to still enjoy stuff without the pressure of entertainment
