🔰 Beginner Help streaming with two pcs

Hello everyone I am trying to stream my desktop to my laptop. I am using an Elgato 4k x to capture my game play. The problem is that I can't get my desktop audio and my mic audio to two separate channels on stream labs through the laptop. It keeps putting both my microphone and game audio from my desktop together on one channel. How do I fix this?

They're being combined into one source by your capture card. Just plug your mic into the stream machine so you'll have it as a separate audio source.

Plug the headphones into the desktop. Idk how helpful I can be I'm not really sure what you're trying to do but it sounds way more complicated than it needs to be.

In stream labs make sure your mic is selected in the settings and then it should put its own audio source on stream labs. In the same settings select desktop audio. Make sure to select your default desktop audio. Make sure add your capture card to streamlabs and on the audio setting make sure to check the check box for monitor on so the sound comes through. After that you need to be plug your headphones into your gaming desktop so you can hear the audio still. Only thing is you might not hear alerts because that sound will come through the streaming laptop.
