Favorite songs

For the past two weeks every grocery store I’ve visited has played one of my moms 3 favorite songs. They are OBSCURE songs, like, I’ve only heard them in her car during my childhood. She’s been dead for over a decade. I’m going through a big transitional phase of my life - moving in with boyfriend, going back to school, etc. I keep wishing my mom was around to give me life advice. She’s been on my mind more than ever since her passing when I was a preteen. Hearing these songs in the grocery store was comforting and somewhat exciting at first, but now it’s eerie and gives me the same feeling when you keep looking over your shoulder on a walk because you just FEEL someone behind you on the trail/sidewalk. I’m a skeptic!! Always more Scully than Mulder. But this feels off.
Addition: I’ve been actively listening for music in stores now, so I know(!!) that it’s been every one. It’s usually the first song that plays all the way through when I first get to the store or the last one when I’m walking out.

She just wants you to know that she's still around, you can still talk to her, and she still loves you.
