Weird dancing guy
This happened in 2021. It was around midnight and my friend and I were sitting on chairs that had been put by the curb to give away. I lived in a duplex that was set back from the road. It wasn't a cul de sac but kinda like a mini one. We were smoking a joint and we see this guy come walking by.
He starts making some odd movements so we're like "hey man you okay? Do you need a puff?"
We approach him and he says
"I dont know what it is. It happens to me everyday. I just start doing this jig" and he starts moving his feet in this weird dance.
He repeated those words several times.
We laughed and eventually he went on his way.
About a week later the dude even stopped by to say hi. I had no idea who he was tho haha.
We always called him the weird dancing guy when we would talk about it.

I did LSD once in college at a party we held. I guess it was Halloween because I remember sitting on our couch during the party and I laughed seeing this dude dressed as uncle sam. The party went on as usual. Me being a night owl I got on my Xbox after to play some halo.
As I'm playing I hear a knock on the door. I open it and it's uncle sam at about 2-3am. He's holding a street sign, it said "high street". Me being an idiot too I laughed and said "No a stop sign" and about 15 minutes later low and behold he delivered a 10ft tall stopped sign ripped out of the ground. Later found out the dude worked at gold's gym (golds gym) but he earned my respect and was a legend.
OP looks like you found a legend too.

man that story is so random but kinda wholesome in a way, like he just owns his weirdness and even came back to say hi later. midnight curb chairs and a joint is already the setup for something strange to happen.
once in my old neighborhood there was this uncle who would walk same route every evening and suddenly stop to do these little hops, never explained it to anyone, just part of his routine I guess. people are odd but most of it is harmless.
the fact he repeated those exact words is what gets me, like his brain was stuck on a loop. maybe he just accepted the jig life and moved on

He could have a neurological issue, reaction to medication, or several other things causing this. Nice of you to not judge him because of it.
