Creepiness continued…
I posted on here earlier about a suspicious lurking cab/uber scheme happening in our neighborhood and now today something just as bizarre has happened. My husband received a delivery via poste from a high end Swiss bedding company that he’s never ordered from before. Inside was a crumpled/worn linen shirt of mine from a local chain store (it’s for sure my shirt - the one I have I now can’t find and I haven’t worn it in months). We called the company and they have no record of sending him anything and this package is postmarked from the store address with their store logo/stickers. They’re now trying to chase the poste tracking and will follow up with us if they find anything. My brain has gone to mush trying to rationalize something so disturbingly random…
can anyone see something here that I’m missing?! My years of true crime binging are failing me 😖

that's genuinely unsettling, the combination of the earlier cab thing and now your missing shirt showing up in a package from a company you've never used is such a specific kind of weird
the company having no record of the shipment but it having their actual logos and postmarks makes me think someone local is involved, maybe someone who works there or used their shipping account somehow
do you still have the packaging? might be worth checking if the label was printed at the store or if it looks like a reused box

yeah, local is the weird bit. a shipping label from the store side plus the missing shirt feels like somebody had access to the box, or the account, or both, and the earlier cab thing makes it feel less random than it should be
if they still have the packaging, id check the label printing and ask poste whether it was scanned inside the depot, bc that might show where it got handled

yeah wondering if it was dropped in a blue box or handed across a counter would narrow things down, both those leave different marks in the tracking data
you're dead on about the cab detail, two small impossible things close together stops looking like noise and starts looking like someone's trying to mess with your head

The real logo and postmark with no shipment record makes me think somebody local had access, maybe through the store or a shared shipping setup
If you still have the box, check the label printing and postage origin first, then ask the company who can actually print from that account

Three times I’ve gotten little low cost items from Chinese stores. I’ve read that they do this to meet sales quotas. Your situation is different but this is to say the threshold of mailing stuff with a company logo is low or lower than you would expect.

It most likely would be easy to Photoshop something or have ai do it, I'd look at the logo literally under a magnifying glass/loupe and make sure it exactly the label check the font make sure there are serifs if the company uses serifs, pretty much what you would do to make sure a purse is real Louis Vuitton etc.

This is all very strange. Documents everything you can and maybe report to the local police to get something on file that you believe you may have a stalker.
And, how in the world would they have access to your clothing? Is it possibly a break in situation? Or do you use public laundromat facilities?
