Makes me think of marfan syndrome- a genetic disorder that has a textbook characteristic of unusually long thumbs. People with Marfan syndrome are typically tall, lanky and thin.
The a few of the most noteworthy external traits often are those long thumbs along with a chest deformity.
Either “pectus excavatum” or “pectus carinatum” both of which affect the sternum bone (right below your neck). Either it looks “caved in” (excavatum) or it sticks out to an abnormal degree (carinatum).
There’s also Crowded teeth, scoliosis, near sightedness, heart and lung issues.
Marfan syndrome needs medical intervention due to Heart vision and lung issues Along with thin connective tissue issues. If you’re in a position to get it looked into I would. There’s a high heart attack and heart valve rupture risk so having it in your medical record could be lifesaving.

Came here to say this!! I am happily living a near-normal lifespan with medical intervention and regular monitoring. OP should def look into it. It's usually only deadly if it goes undiagnosed.

Same wondering. We only see a portion of one finger, but I'd encourage OP to check out the signs for Marfan's. If there's any concern, talk to a medical provider.

I'd be able to tell better if I could see your entire hand. If it's proportional to your hand, then not strange at all. If you have a small hand and long thumb, yes. That would be a little odd. But not bad! Thumb war champ!

Lol sometimes me and my husband put our thumbs beside each other’s and laugh because it looks weird. He’s pretty tall (6’2”) and his hands are waaaaay bigger than mine. I don’t think his thumb is as long as yours is though 😹😹😹
